Cookie Policy
LNC Professional
Last updated: 18 July 2026
The short version
Our website, lncpronails.com, uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed to make the site work at all. Others help us understand which of our advertisements actually bring in real enquiries.
The ones that are not strictly necessary only run if you say yes. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal information generally.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. When you come back, the site can read it. It is how a website remembers things like what is in your basket or that you already dismissed a banner.
We also use technologies that are not literally cookies but do a similar job, and the same rules apply to them:
- Pixels and tracking scripts, small pieces of code that report activity back to a provider. The Meta Pixel is one.
- Local storage, a place in your browser where a site can keep information.
For simplicity, this policy calls all of them "cookies".
Who we are
LNC Professional is the trading name of LNC NSI Barbados SRL, a Society with Restricted Liability formed in Barbados.

The categories we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These make the website function and keep it secure. Without them, pages will not load correctly and forms will not submit. They do not require your consent, because the site cannot be delivered without them. They do not track you across other websites.
They include cookies set by Cloudflare, which hosts and protects our site, for purposes such as identifying malicious traffic and keeping the site available.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Only if Cloudflare needs to check that a request is not automated | About 30 minutes |
lnc_consent_v1 | lncpronails.com | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. Stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie | Until you clear your browser data |
| None | The website sets no session cookies of its own |
2. Advertising and measurement cookies
These only run if you consent.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we use the Meta Pixel to understand which advertisements bring genuine enquiries from nail professionals rather than clicks that go nowhere. This matters to us because advertising money we waste is money not spent on stock and product development.
What the Meta Pixel does:
- it records that you visited certain pages on our site, for example our stock or enquiry page
- it can record that you submitted an enquiry form, so we know that advertisement worked
- it sends this to Meta Platforms, Inc., which links it to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one
- Meta uses it to show you our advertisements, to build audiences of people similar to our customers, and for its own purposes as described in Meta's own policies
This is profiling for advertising purposes. If that is not something you want, decline advertising cookies. Nothing on our site will stop working, and your enquiry will be handled exactly the same way.
| Cookie or technology | Set by | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
Meta Pixel (_fbp) | Meta Platforms | Identifies your browser for advertising measurement | 90 days |
_fbc / click identifier | Meta Platforms | Links a visit back to the advertisement clicked | 90 days |
| None | No other advertising cookie is set |
Meta's own handling of this data is governed by Meta's policies, not ours. You can review and adjust what Meta does with your advertising data in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
3. Analytics cookies
We run no analytics. As at the date above, lncpronails.com loads no analytics tool of any kind, no Google Analytics, no Cloudflare Web Analytics, nothing. If that changes we will update this notice first.
4. Cookies we do not use
To be clear about the negatives:
- we do not use cookies to build a profile of your health, finances, or anything sensitive
- we do not sell the information cookies collect
- we do not place cookies from advertising networks other than Meta
If that ever changes, this policy will be updated and the consent banner will ask you again.
Chat and messaging
If you message us through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, those conversations do not happen on our website and are not governed by cookies. They are covered in our Privacy Policy, including the fact that an automated AI assistant reads and replies to those messages in the first instance.
No chat widget is embedded on this website. If you message us, you do so through WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram, which set cookies under their own terms, not ours.
How to control cookies
On our site. When you first arrive, our banner asks what you want. You can accept the optional cookies, reject them, or choose by category. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and it is one click.
Changing your mind. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. Your new choice takes effect immediately.
In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. This is a blunter instrument and may break parts of this and other websites, but it is entirely your call. Look for "Privacy" or "Cookies and site data" in your browser settings.
On your device. iOS and Android both offer settings that limit cross app tracking, which reduces what advertising pixels can do regardless of what any website says.
With Meta directly. Your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences let you limit how Meta uses activity from websites like ours.
Your rights
The information cookies collect can be personal data. The rights described in our Privacy Policy apply to it, including your right to access it, to object to it, to have it deleted, and to complain to your data protection regulator.
To exercise any of these, email info@lncpronails.com.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie or a new provider, we will update this policy and, where the new cookie is not strictly necessary, ask for your consent again.

Honest note on the empty tables
The cookie tables above are deliberately unfilled. Cookie names and durations change when providers update their products, and a policy that lists cookies the site does not actually set, or omits ones it does, is worse than useless: it is documented inaccuracy that a regulator can point at.
The correct way to fill them is to run a scan of the live site in a clean browser profile, once with consent declined and once with consent accepted, and record exactly what is set in each state. That second scan also tests the most important thing: that nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies fires before consent is given.
Blocking issue, ahead of the legal questions below
The live advertising landing page at api.eiccio.net/eden/v1/lncpro/stock currently loads the Meta Pixel unconditionally on page load, carries no privacy policy link, and has no cookie banner, while paid traffic is running to it. This policy cannot truthfully say that optional cookies "only run if you say yes" until that page is fixed. See the "Live issue on the advertising landing page" section of the Privacy Policy draft for the specific changes required. This is an engineering fix, not a legal question, and it should be done before or alongside publication.
Matters requiring a lawyer's decision
- Whether the banner should be shown globally or geo-gated. A global banner is operationally simpler and is the more defensible posture given Barbadian, EU, UK, Nigerian and CARICOM exposure. Counsel should confirm the commercial and legal trade-off.
- Whether the Meta Pixel's transfer of data to Meta in the United States is adequately covered. This is the same transfer question flagged in the Privacy Policy and it is the substantive one, not a formality. Note that the transfer now originates from a Barbadian controller, not a US one, which changes the analysis.
- Whether any target market imposes cookie rules stricter than the EU ePrivacy baseline that this policy assumes, including whether the Barbados Data Protection Act 2019 does so.
